It is high time to finally end the entrapment of medical data in dozens of e-health systems in Europe, ESPON advocates in its publication “Collaborating to create better digital healthcare”. Its authors are convinced that sharing medical data between different systems and across national borders has the potential to provide tailored healthcare to EU citizens.
